Committed to healing, protecting and beautifying the skin, Ferndale Laboratories, Inc. (FLI) is a privately held manufacturer and marketer of branded pharmaceuticals. We direct our promotional efforts to the under-served medical specialties of dermatology and colon/rectal surgery. Although founded in 1897, we have maintained an aggressive growth pace over the last six years. Our sales revenue has quadrupled since 1996. Ferndale Laboratories is actively seeking to expand our portfolio of prescription and over-the- counter skin care products. Our mission is to become a worldwide marketing leader of specialty pharmaceuticals. Along with our dedicated work force we will reach our goal via inward/outward licensing, acquisitions, and research and development. We are also currenlty looking to leverage our manufacturing expertise by offering full service contract manufacturing and development services.

At the beginning of 2002 we opened our International Offices near Cambridge in the UK. This European base is helping us to expand our presence around the globe. Ferndale Laboratories currently has partnerships with companies in most major markets in Europe, South America Australia and Asia. In September of 2003 Ferndale acquired the Dermatology business of Adams healthcare in the UK. The clinical dermatology group of this company now operates under the name Ferndale Pharmaceuticals Ltd  in West Yorkshire.  Ferndale Pharmaceuticals has also formed an aesthetic medicine company that operates under the name of aestheticare.

Ferndale Laboratories specializes in products that help relieve discomfort and promote healing for symptoms such as inflammatory and pruritic conditions, acne and/or excess sebum, pain, anorectal discomfort--hemorrhoids, anogenital pruritus, inflammation and fissures. The company also provides products for constipation, rhinorrhea and allergic rhinitis, surgical adhesive and surgical adhesive remover.

Ferndale Laboratories has engaged in a strategic commercialisation agreement with Norwood Abbey and a co-promotion agreement with Novavax.

In December 2003, Ferndale has signed a license agreement with ZARS to manufacture and market the S-Caine Patch product which is intended to be used to numb the skin before painful medical procedures, such as, vascular access, minor dermatological procedures, vaccinations etc.
