APR Applied Pharma Research s.a. is an independent, international and integrated Healthcare Company headquartered in Switzerland with a subsidiary in Charlotte (NC, USA) and focused on three major areas: Delivering, Funding and Supporting Innovation in Healthcare.

In particular, APR develops and licenses innovative, value added and patented healthcare products and proprietary drug delivery systems primarily in the oral and topical fields;

APR also invests in companies or early stage innovative projects and provides a balanced mix of equity funding and/or financing together with APR’s development, scientific, technical, marketing, licensing and management skills and know how;

finally, APR supports biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the development of new pharmaceutical projects by providing on a contract basis added value, consultancy and R&D services under contract using a General Contractor approach.
APR has entered into licensing and partnership agreements with pharmaceutical companies in over 100 countries worldwide with international sales on a worldwide basis.

APR is interested to evaluate any partnering opportunity with drug discovery as well as drug delivery companies focused in oral and topical products and interested to join forces and boost product development of new innovative drugs.

APR is also interested to evaluate in-licensing opportunities of promising early stage drug candidates in the oral, topical and transdermal areas.

APR's products include Cough and Cold, Anti-inflammatories Analgesics, Muscle relaxants, Oncologics, Gastro-intestinal, Anti-inflammatories and Antiviral products as well as Consumer products such as Patches, Dermocosmetics and Gynaecological products. APR products and technologies are licensed to third parties for distribution and marketing activities. R&D activities are carried out directly or under contract. APR has signed licensing agreements with pharmaceutical companies worldwide and its sales are almost totally achieved abroad.
