A new powder spray to help protect the throat lining membranes from various inflammatory conditions (such as acid reflux) has been developed by our UK based clients. The novel throat spray uses a naturally derived and purified powder to coat the lining of the entire throat; protecting the area from the burning sensations caused by acid reflux and environmental irritants.

Intended as both a preventative and reactive measure; the product is recommended for use twice a day providing around-the-clock relief from common symptoms such as throat irritation, chronic sore throat, chronic cough, and post-nasal drip. Is equally effective if used as symptoms first develop; commonly after meals for example.

It is the backflow of gastric contents into the throat that causes silent reflux. This type of reflux is called silent because two-thirds of people with silent reflux do not experience heartburn or other digestive symptoms, yet still experience the same chronic sore throat and cough associated with GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). This underserved market of un-diagnosed sufferers can be addressed effectively with this product by treating their symptoms, even if the underlying cause of the condition is unknown to them.

The throat spray has been tested in human and animal studies, and demonstrated to have no associated toxicities. The product is a safe and cost effective OTC alternative to proton pump inhibitors; the mainstay treatment for reflux symptoms at the present time.
